About the Department

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 1983 with an intake of 40 students and has grown steadily. It offers a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Electronics & Communication Program with an intake of 120 students and a Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Digital Communication and Networking program with an intake of 18 students. The department also has research center with reconized supervisors. The objective of the department is to produce Graduates and Postgraduates with strong fundamentals in Electronics and Communication Engineering to cater the needs of Industry, Society and Mankind.

The department has 24 faculties with an average experience of 12+ years. More than 30% of faculty have completed their Ph.D and remaining are pursuing theIr Ph.D. The faculty interacts closely with students and alums in academia and industry to meet the aspirations of different stakeholders. The department's research activities have resulted in many publications in reputed National/International Conferences and Journals. As a result of the innovative teaching-learning method, our students have produced excellent records in Placement, Curricular and Co-curricular activities.
