BLDEAs V. P. DR. P. G. Halakatti college of Engineering and Technology has received the best Student Chapter award by Indian Society for Technical Education, Karnataka Section. Also Mr. Samarth Hatture of Electronics and Communication department is been awarded with Best Student for his active involvement and contribution toward organizing activities under student chapter. The award ceremony was held at Vemana Institute of Technology, Bengaluru on 06. 05. 2023. Principal Dr. V. G. Sangam, HoD Dr. Umesh Dixit, faculty advisors Prof. B. K. Gudur, Prof. G. B. Gour and all the staff appreciated and congratulated the entire ISTE team of the Institute.

Students Samruddhi Hiremath and Soubhagya Muddebihal studying in 3rd sem, Dept of Electronics and Communication engineering, BLDEA’s V P Dr. P G Halakatti college of Engineering and Technology vijayapur, participated in VLSI Hackathon organised by Intel India STEM skills program for women by Intel and Learning link foundation, Bangalore. They have bagged the consolation price of Rs.5000/- and prize was given by Dr. Tanuja, Professor, VTU Muddenhalli, and Sachin Patil,LLF. The mentors of our college Prof. Mangala Jolad and Dr. Daneshwari I Hatti, Assistant Professor, Mr. Ajitkumar, Intel Bangalore guided to participate in this event. The management, Principal Dr. V. G. Sangam, HoD Dr. Umesh Dixit and all the staff appreciated the students for their achievement.
