From the Principal's Desk

For aspiring engineers, the fields of engineering, architecture, business administration and computer applications offer an excellent choice to build a bright and successful career. The graduates from these fields will have the benefit of choosing from more than 2 to 3 job offers. Also, statistically, engineers stand an excellent chance of being employed compared to graduates from other disciplines.

Since its establishment in 1980, BLDEACET has been imparting state-of-the-art education with a focus on skill enhancement. Its vision is to emerge as a globally renowned institute by excelling in academics as well as research activities.

The college has accreditations from NBA, NAAC, ISO. It is now aiming for certification from the Accreditation Board of Engineering and Technology (ABET), USA, to fulfil its goal of becoming a globally renowned institute. It is preferred by the Government of India, Government of Karnataka and foreign universities for collaborative research and development projects serving various nations and regions. It is building up academic, research and professional relations with foreign universities to offer international study exchange programs for its faculty and students. It also provides internship programs in reputed MNCs for its students.

A start-up called BLDE Innovation Centre has been established by the college to offer professional services to customers of government and semi-government organizations and private enterprises. The services are provided in the field of Web Designing, Contracting, Architectural designs, Environmental Engineering, Integrated Management Systems Audits, and Drone Surveying, Land Mapping, etc.

The college has started two new UG engineering programmes from 2020-21, namely, Instrumentation Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, to meet the human resources needs of robotics and automation field. Its newly launched PG Program in Environmental Engineering will help students to build a career in environmental conservation and sustainable engineering.

The college offers minor courses of six-month duration in promising futuristic technologies such as 3D Printing, Smart Cities, Electrical Vehicles and Internet of Things as value-added certifications courses. Its alumni, working in Fortune 500 MNCs, will help its alma mater to deliver these courses to meet the needs of industries.

BLDEACET's key objective is to secure 100% placements for its students in Top 10 Fortune 500 companies from all courses offered, viz., Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration and Computer Applications.

The college's team of highly skilled and qualified faculty members is continually improving the process of teaching and learning to transform their students into competent technocrats who can help our nation and the world and create a better tomorrow.
