About the Department

Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) program has been started in the year 2023 with intake 60. Data Science is the combination of Computer Science and Statistics. The major focus of Computer Science & Engineering (Data Science) program is to equip students with Computer Science, machine learning, statistical, mathematical reasoning, knowledge discovery, and visualization skills. At the end of the course the students will gain cross disciplinary skills across fields such as computer science, statistics, machine learning and will have career opportunities in IT sectors like healthcare, business, ecommerce, social networking companies, climatology, biotechnology, banking, genetics, and other important areas.
