IT Facilities

BLDE Association’s V. P. Dr. P. G. Halakatti College of Engineering and Technology (BLDEACET), Vijayapura, was established in the year 1980 to provide quality technical education to the students of North Karnataka. The institute provides uninterrupted IT- enabled services to all stake holders, which is managed by Institute IT committee. The institute IT committee comprises of Institute IT Head and team members.

The college has ICT-enabled classrooms and has an internet facility connecting over 1300+ systems spread out across different Departments. The institute Internet access is provided to all staff and students to access online resources.

Computing Resources

Institute has good IT facilities, with 1300+ Computer systems and Servers. The students are provided with Desktop PCs ranging up to the configuration i7 processor 13th Gen @ 5.1GHz, 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD. Besides, Internet connectivity of 1 Gbps is provided using wired LANs or Wifi networks.

Institutional Computer Details

Institute has good IT facilities, with 1300+ Computer systems and Servers. The students are provided with Desktop PCs of state-of-art configurations, and Internet connectivity of 1 Gbps. The distribution of Desktop PCs are as follows.

Internet and Wi-fi Campus

The Wi-fi internet facility is available in all the Departments, key areas at the Campus and at Boys and Girls Hostels. A 1Gbps internet connectivity is available altogether at the Campus, Boy’s and Girl’s Hostels. The All connect Network Service Pvt. Ltd, Vijayapura is the Internet Service Provider.

CCTV surveillance

The BLDEACET campus has a network of CCTV camera system for surveillance purpose. CCTV cameras have been installed in all the locations which are important from security point of view- Library, Corridors, Hostels etc.
