About the Department

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 1983 with an intake of 40 students and grown steadily. It offers a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) in Electronics & Communication Program with an intake of 120 students and Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Digital Communication and Networking program with an intake of 18 students. The objective of the department is to produce Graduates and Post-graduates with strong fundamentals in Electronics and Communication Engineering to cater the needs of Industry, Society and Mankind.

The department has 24 dedicated faculties, out of which 3 are Ph.D holders and more than 12 are pursuing Ph.D. The faculty interacts closely with students, alumni in academia and industry to meet the aspirations of different stake holders. The research activities in the department have resulted in a good number of publications in reputed National/International Conferences and Journals. As a result of innovative teaching-learning method our students have produced excellent records in Placement, Curricular and Co-curricular activities.
