“National Electrical Safety Week-2024” Celebration
Workshop on “Handling of Electrical Equipment’s And Safety Measures -2024”
On account of National Electrical Safety Week-2024 , Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has organized One Week Workshop on “Handling of Electrical Equipment’s and Safety Measures” , Electrical Awareness is very important for everyone where each one should know the Basic Electrical Safety Measures , the hands on training session was an excellent platform and it has given wide knowledge about “Handling of Electrical Equipment’s and Safety Measures” and its related topics to various institute technical staff. The training made the target audience to understand the basic concepts was extremely appreciable and helpful. All the participants expressed their satisfaction for attending the training event.
Guest Lectures
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized the Guest Lecture on “Electrical Vehicle technology: Industry & Market” n 13th July 2024 at 10.30am. Proud AlumniAshutosh Kumar, Owner, Ace telecommunication solutions, Mumbai (1995 Batch) delivered the lecture on present status of Electrical vehicle industry and market in India with respect to technologies related to EV. Speaker shared his Entrepreneurship journey and motivated the students to have innovative mindset to build something new. 2nd Year Students have participated actively and interacted with the Speaker.
Guest Lecture on “Design of powertrain in EVs & HEVs” on 22nd July 2024 at 3.30Pm
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized the Guest Lecture on “Design of powertrain in EVs & HEVs” on 22nd July 2024 at 3.30Pm. Miss.Vinuta Patil, Senior Engineer, Motor Electromagnetic Design, R & D Powertrain Development greaves Electric mobility Bengaluru. (2020 Batch) delivered the lecture on parameters to be considered to design powertrain in EV and HEVs which plays important role in system. 3rd Year Students have participated actively and interacted with the Speaker.
INVICTUS 2024
Technical Events
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized the two technical events like Tech Quiz and Circuit Rigup in INVICTUS 2024 on 23rd May, 2024. Alumni Mrs.Savitri Sanadi, Lecturer, Govt. Polytechnic, Vijaypur (2022 Batch Mtech Alumni) is invited as Judge for the technical events. Students of other college and other branches participated actively in the events and won the cash Prizes.17 students are participants in Tech Quiz and 23 Students are participated in Circuit Rigup Event.
OPEN DAY 2024 (Project Exhibition)
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has organized project exhibition on 19th December 2024. The main objective of organizing such an exhibition is to make the learning process effective and efficient with hands-on experience for the students. The exhibition provides a good platform for students to exhibit their talents and receive suggestions from other experts.
There were a total of 23 working projects on display, during the event. All the projects were mentored and guided by the faculty members of the department. The students demonstrated the working of their projects to the visitors.
Sports and cultural activities
Department of Electrical and electronics engineering has organized an Intra-departmental cricket match for Men & Women on 6-6-2024 and 7-6-2024 to create awareness and educate about sports benefits.

Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering has organized “SOFT SKILL TRAINING” to improve communication, Develop problem-solving skills, Develop teamwork skills and Improve leadership skills.
Industry visit
On 10th February 2024, students and faculties of Electrical and Electronics Engineering visited Vijayapur Silk Industries Private Limited (Sericulture Centre) at Kumatagi. It was an amazing experience for our students, where the students were able to see the incubation room where the eggs are placed for hatching, the mulberry tree plantation where the silk worms feed and cocoons are formed.

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has organized Parent Teacher Meet on 17/12/2022. It was a great interaction between Teacher and Parents for the development of children.
On the occasion of Engineer’s Day Celebration which was on Sep 15th, our department proud alumnus were felicitated by Principal and Head of the Department
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has organized project exhibition on 17th July 2022 in Power Electronics Lab(C-120), Basic Electrical Lab(C-125) and Analog Electronics Lab(C-126). The main objective of organizing such an exhibition is to make the learning process effective and efficient with hands-on experience for the students. Prof. S. A. Gadad and Prof. V. K. Kolur were coordinators for the event and Mr. Raju Bijjargi , Managing Director, TATA Motors, Vijayapur was the chief guest and evaluator for the event.
Team thankful to our proud alumnus Mrs. Priya Kulkarni for donating 35 text books to department library. Books are received by library in charge Prof.Fatima Kudchi.
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized Freshers and Farewell Function on 25 June 2022. Smt. Sairabanu Khan, Deputy Director, District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) Vijayapur was Chief Guest for the function.

A social event on “Electricity Safety and Awareness” program was organised in Kanamadi village on 25th August 2021 by Electrical & Electronics Engineering Department.
Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has Organised a Project Expo “TANTRAGYANA-2021” on 23 Sept. 2021 by second year and third year students. Students has demonstrated around 50 projects about recent technologies to create a scientific awareness among the students and people.
One week International webinar series was organized by our department on “Power System Engineering ad Electric Vehicles” from 08/06/2020 to 12/06/2020. The webinar series mainly focused on Trends and technologies in electric vehicles and power system engineering and highlighting the career opportunities in electric vehicle sectors. The Resource persons were from IIT’s and Reputed Institutes who gave the best out of the present technologies which are there in electric vehicle technologies and power system networks. Total 80 Participants were from National and 06 from International level who participated actively and gain the knowledge about the topics discussed.
One week webinar series was organized by our department on “Recent Technologies and Career Opportunities ” from 24/07/2020 to 31/07/2020. The Resource persons were from MNC’s, MESCOM and other Govt. Sectors who gave the best out of the present technologies which are there in present world. Total 60 Participants participated actively and gain the knowledge about the topics discussed.
