The Department of Computer Science & Engineering was started in the year of 1985 with an intake of 40 and has grown steadily. The present enhanced AICTE approved intake is 90, which runs a full time four year degree program. The department is spread over the sufficient area and housed with six well equipped laboratories viz. Computer Network Lab, Data Structures Lab, Computer Graphics Lab, Analog & Digital Electronics Lab, DBMS Lab & Microprocessor Lab with about 200 computers of state-of –the –art configuration, advanced soft wares and up to 16 MBPS Broad band connection, Internet access to cater the needs of the students. The department is also having library with 750 books and journals.
